In the spring of 2001 I initiated conversations with the Women's Varsity Rowing Team concerning possible design and construction opportunities for a boathouse to be located on the Licking River, Kentucky. Three other students and I with the guidance of Associate Professor of Architecture Michael McInturf, designed a master plan and facility design for a new boathouse. I shared a role in project leadership, project design, production, and the design and publication of marketing literature, which was used to secure a US $1 million donation toward the facility. The Boathouse is currently slated for groundbreaking in the spring of 2003.
